Matthias and I took several tours during our month-long honeymoon in Costa Rica and our day tour in La Fortuna was by far one of the best choices we made on the entire trip!

02.) Night Tours
Hands-down one of the best things to do in La Fortuna and honestly one of the best things to do in the entire country! If you can only do one tour, make it a night tour. You will not regret it!
Exploring this x and nearby x at sunset and after dark is a thrilling, educational, and memorable experience. The amount of wildlife you encounter is truly shocking! Here is the briefest overview of what you might see:
– Tarantulas & neon-colored spiders (as someone afraid of spiders, even I have to say they are pretty damn cool here!)
– Snakes, including the infamous Fer-de-Lance

03.) Canyoning Tours
With breathtaking waterfalls all across the country, there’s no better way to experience them and the beauty of Costa Rica than rappelling right down the cascades.
La Fortuna is one the top canyoning hot spots, along with Monteverde. Matthias and I booked a Monteverde Canyoning Tour, instead of one in La Fortuna, but the idea is the same and boy can we recommend a canyoning tour to you!!
It was both exhilarating and challenging (having water rush over my face while focusing on breathing and safety was intense to say the least, haha), but the expert guides ensure a safe and thrilling experience. We smiled for days afterwards, it was so much fun!

04.) Coffee and Chocolate Tours
One of the most educational (and delicious!) things to do in La Fortuna is to dive into Costa Rica’s top exports: coffee, chocolate, and sugar cane.
The North Fields Coffee Tour is a standout experience that is quite famous – not just in La Fortuna, but in all of Costa Rica!

05.) White Water Rafting Tour
One of the most adrenaline-filled things to do in La Fortuna is to go whitewater rafting! Costa Rica is ranked among the best rafting destinations in the world, with options for all skill levels.
The most famous spot in Costa Rica, the Pacuare River (where Matze and I went!), is on the Caribbean side in the far south, however near La Fortuna you’ll find two other, excellent choices: the Balsa River, perfect for beginners with fun class II–III rapids, and the Sarapiquí River, which offers wilder class IV adventures.
Depending on the season and rainfall, these tours can be a wild, splash-filled ride, but it is always worth it! Expect beautiful scenery, tons of wildlife sightings, and plenty of excitement.

06.) Zip Lining
One of the most thrilling things to do in La Fortuna is ziplining through the rainforest with incredible views of waterfalls and volcanoes – yes, it’s as epic as it sounds!
The best spot for ziplining in the area is Parque Arenal Mundo Aventura, where you’ll soar across 12 scenic cables with jaw-dropping views of the Arenal Volcano, Cerro Chato (another volcano!), and the famous La Fortuna Waterfall.
It’s a fantastic adventure for families, too, as the cable lines are exciting but not too intense and the minimum age is just 7 years old.

07.) Bogarin Sloth Trail Tour
If spotting a sloth is on your bucket list of things to do in La Fortuna, don’t miss the Bogarin Trail – one of the best places in Costa Rica to see them in the wild!
Located just outside town, this 2.5 km (1.5 mile) flat loop winds through lush rainforest and is home to 30 wild sloths, both two- and three-toed, plus frogs, birds, coatis, and so much more.
The trails were founded in 2000 by Joanne Bogarin as a way to protect wildlife after increasing urbanization threatened local habitats. Today, it’s one of the last secondary rainforests within La Fortuna’s city limits!
You can walk the trail on your own for $20 USD, as of 2025, but the heavily praised and recommended 2-hour guided tour ($45 USD) gives you a far better chance of spotting wildlife, as well as learning all about local plants, animals, and ecosystems.
The Bogarin Trail is also incredibly inclusive and accessible, with flat paths allowing for strollers and wheelchairs of all types, and guides are trained to accommodate all visitors, including the visually impaired.

08.) Horseback tour
One of the top thing to do in La Fortuna for nature lovers is to do a horseback riding tour!
Many tours take place on private land and with small groups, giving you a tranquil, immersive experience surrounded by rainforest, rivers, and views of the Arenal Volcano. Some even include stops for swimming in natural pools and rivers!
Whether you’re a first-time rider or a seasoned equestrian, there are great options for every level and most tours are well-suited to support you wherever you’re at.

09.) Maleku Indigenous Tour
Kapi Kapi! (Hello! in Maleku Jaika)
The Maleku Tribe is the smallest indigenous tribe in Costa Rica, with just over 600 people remaining. Deeply connected to the rainforest, the Maleku work to promote reforestation and to preserve their traditions, language, and way of life.
One of the highlights during our last trip to Costa Rica was visiting a Maleku village, where we got to learn their history, chat with the community, and experience their customs firsthand.
Sipping on a traditional drink called Chicha, an indigenous corn beer that is quite tasty, while listening to stories passed down for generations was such a unique and special experience!
If you’re interested in visiting and supporting the Maleku Tribe, book a tour here or look for it nestled within other day tours (like the one linked above at #1!), or learn more from their official site. Their culture, language, and traditions are at risk, so any support helps to preserve their heritage!
Important to note: look for tours that directly support the tribe and their reforestation goals! Be wary of tours that appear to be taking advantage of the tribe and/or tricking tourists with fake tribes. These unfortunately do exist. Research well and read reviews!
10.) ATV Tour
If you’re craving adventure, one of the most thrilling things to do in La Fortuna is to hop on an ATV tour and explore the region on wheels!
Zoom through rainforest trails, muddy back roads, wide open plains, and more – all with epic views of Arenal Volcano along the way. Most tours run a few hours and usually let you choose between riding solo, with a partner, or even in a UTV (buggy/side-by-side) if you prefer a more stable ride.
No experience? No problem. Friendly guides will teach you everything you need to know and make sure your ride is both safe and exhilarating. Note that if you do have experience, you tend to ride (in a group tour, that is) only as fast as the slowest rider. So if you are looking for something high-energy and fast, book a private tour instead!

Chasing this region’s most famous waterfalls is one of the most unforgettable things to do in La Fortuna, as it is home to two of Costa Rica’s most iconic spots: La Fortuna Waterfall and Rio Celeste.
La Fortuna Waterfall is a 70 meter (230 foot) cascade nestled in lush jungle, just a short hike down from the entrance. Once there, you’ll find stunning viewpoints, photo ops, and natural swimming holes to cool off in. Due to it’s slightly smaller size, most tour options are combo tours! The most popular tubing spot in all of Costa Rica is luckily very near to La Fortuna. It is the Rio Celeste, famous world-wide for its vibrant blue water, eye-catching waterfall, great swimming holes, and lush rainforest surroundings.

I am sure that we don’t need to tell you by now how beautiful and diverse the nature is in Costa Rica. La Fortuna is no exception! From hiking volcano trails to a stunning butterfly conservatory to hot springs and much more – there are many things to do in La Fortuna for all of us nature lovers.
15.) National Parks and Wildlife Reserves
Beyond La Fortuna’s main attractions and tours, be sure not to miss nearby gems like the overall region’s national parks and wildlife reserves!
These areas offer incredibly wildlife watching, rainforest immersion, stunning hikes, and jaw-dropping natural beauty.
Here is a brief overview of the top spots:
- Ecocentro Danaus – Just minutes from downtown, Ecocentro Danaus is a small nature reserve known for its easy trails and abundant wildlife. Spot sloths, frogs, birds, and even caimans while learning about local conservation efforts. There are options for self-guided tours on the property or various guided and combo tour options!
- Arenal Volcano National Park – This 29,692-acre national park is a must when looking for things to do in La Fortuna. Hike trails along old lava flows and enjoy breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. It’s one of the best places to soak in the area’s volcanic beauty and natural wonder.
- Monkey Park – Monkey Park offers peaceful, private land and a forest trail you can explore on your own or with a guide. You are sure to spot monkeys, sloths, toucans, and more! They offer other tour options as well, such as a farm experience, a night walk, or a birdwatching tour.
- Natura Eco Park – Natura Eco Park offers day, night, and self-guided tours through their large ecological park including Costa Rica’s largest frog garden, reptile ponds, and private rainforest trails. It’s a fantastic place to see a lot of Costa Rica’s wildlife up close!
- Arenal Oasis Eco Lodge & Wildlife Refuge – Arenal Oasis is a private reserve offering several tour options such as a frog-focused night walk, birdwatching, sloth sightseeing, and more. They also offer lovely housing options on site for anyone looking to stay in a jungle bungalow in an eco park!
- Tenorio Volcano National Park – About 1.5 hours from La Fortuna, this park is home to Río Celeste, a river famous for its electric blue water. Here you can find lots of easy to moderate hikes, the stunning Río Celeste Waterfall, bubbling thermal spots, and incredibly lush rainforest scenery. It’s a must–do day trip from La Fortuna!
- Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge – Located about 2 hours away, Caño Negro is one of Costa Rica’s richest wildlife zones. Take a boat tour through wetlands, do a half-day hike through the rainforests, go on a night walk, or wake up early for one of their famous birdwatching tours (a real highlight due to the mass bird migrations each year)! It’s a must–do off–the–beaten–path adventure for nature lovers!
16.) Lake Arenal
Visiting Lake Arenal is easily one of the most varied and customizable things to do in La Fortuna! Whether you’re chasing adventure or tranquility, Lake Arenal adds a perfect balance of natural beauty and outdoor fun to your La Fortuna itinerary.
Nestled at the base of the Arenal Volcano, this stunning lake is the largest in Costa Rica and offers breathtaking views in every direction.
It’s a haven for outdoor lovers – kayak and paddleboard rentals are widely available, and the usually calm waters make it perfect for beginners and pros alike. There are even tons of great group tours if you are unsure about going alone!
For those looking for a bit more adventure, you can go boating, windsurfing, or try your luck fishing for the lake’s famous rainbow bass. Just make sure to check the time you will visit with the weather and book these bigger activities in advance. Most fishing and boating tours, for example, need at least a weeks notice!
If you’re after a slower pace, though, no worries! Enjoy a lakeside picnic, grab a drink or meal at one of the many cafés and restaurants overlooking the water, or simply sit and take in the peaceful scenery.
17.) Butterfly Conservatory
Costa Rica is home to around 1,250 butterfly species – over 10% of the world’s total, making a visit to a butterfly conservatory one of the most beautiful and educational things to do in La Fortuna!
The Butterfly Conservatory in El Castillo, located in-between La Fortuna and Monteverde (making it a great road trip pit-stop!), is the best one in all of Costa Rica.
This conservatory has the largest collection in the entire country and offers an up-close look at stunning, vibrant butterflies while teaching visitors all about their life cycles and conservation efforts.
In addition, they have tons of trails and other exhibits (even a botanical garden!), allowing you to see and experience much more than just butterfly exhibits. We cannot recommend this spot enough!
It’s peaceful and inspiring for anyone interested in rainforest ecosystems and wildlife, especially butterflies, and it is a great alternative to more crowded attractions – definitely one of the most underrated things to do in La Fortuna.

18.) Místico Hanging Bridges Park
Exploring the Místico Arenal Hanging Bridges is easily one of the most magical things to do near La Fortuna!
This lush rainforest reserve offers three different scenic trails from the short 1.6 km (1 mi) trail up to the full 3.5 km (2.7 mi) trail. Along the way you will cross up to 16 bridges (including six hanging bridges!) that bring you eye-level with the canopy. The tallest bridge is a whopping 55 m (147 ft)!
From the many bridges and high vantage points, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the rainforest, sweeping valleys, and Arenal Volcano in the distance. This makes it a paradise for photographers and wildlife lovers, with frequent sightings of toucans, sloths, howler monkeys, and more.
For the best chance of spotting animals, consider booking one of Místico’s guided tours. That said, even a self-guided visit is sure to be a highlight of your La Fortuna itinerary!
While admission is a bit pricier than the average nature park, the combination of misty jungle scenery and spectacular volcano views makes this an unforgettable experience for any nature lovers.

19.) Proyecto Asis Animal Sanctuary
Animal lovers, rejoice – Proyecto Asis is a sanctuary and rescue center just south of La Fortuna dedicated to rehabilitating Costa Rica’s wildlife and they offer amazing tour and volunteer options!
They have several tour options, but their most popular and highest rated is their daily “Wildlife Tour” where a guide will take you around the center and you’ll be able to see their rescued animals, such as monkeys, parrots, coatis, and so much more.
For an even more in-depth and rewarding tour experience, add on a short volunteer session after your tour! For roughly an hour and a half, You’ll help prepare animal diets, learn about enrichment efforts, and watch from a short distance as the staff feed the animals with what you helped prepare.

20.) Old Lava Flow Hikes
Skip the crowds at Arenal National Park and head to two nearby gems – Arenal 1968 and Mirador El Silencio – both offering dramatic volcanic terrain, old lava flow trails, and jaw-dropping views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal.
Arenal 1968 offers three scenic trails (about 10 km / 6.2 miles total), multiple viewing platforms, a café, and well-maintained paths, making it ideal for those who want a more polished, tourist-friendly hiking experience. It’s pricier than some options, especially for guided tours, but the views are just spectacular.
Mirador El Silencio offers six wilder, less-crowded trails (totaling 14 km / 8.5 miles). It’s more rugged and budget-friendly, but still boasting stunning views. Perfect for travelers craving a quieter, off-the-beaten-path adventure! This is our personal recommendation 🙂
Both spots offer self-guided or guided hikes. While guides are never essential… you probably already know how we feel about them by now! They can enrich your visit a LOT with history and culture knowledge, wildlife spotting, and insider tips (like the best restaurants in town and more!).
For nature lovers, hiking one – or even both – of these volcanic landscapes is easily one of the best things to do in La Fortuna!
21.) Luxury Hot Springs Day Pass
No trip to La Fortuna is complete without a relaxing soak in its famous volcanic hot springs. And the best part? You don’t have to stay at a fancy resort to enjoy them!
Many of La Fortuna’s luxury hotels offer day passes that give you access to naturally heated spring water with features like beautifully landscaped pools, cascading waterfalls, swim-up bars, and even slides! These resorts also tend to include other amenities like entrance to their restaurants, showers, lounge areas, and more in the day pass price.
For the ultimate splurge, head to Tabacón Thermal Resort or The Springs Resort & Spa – both world-famous for their 5-star facilities and stunning settings. Just be sure to book at least 2–3 weeks in advance to be sure you can secure your spot. They are popular and do have crowd limits each day!

Free Things to do in La Fortuna:
There is a handful of great budget-friendly activities in La Fortuna, including a real gem – free hot springs!!
22.) El Choyin – Free Hot Springs
One of the top attractions in La Fortuna are the hot springs and while many are located in high-end resorts that charge steep entrance fees, there’s a budget-friendly hot springs alternative – the FREE ‘El Choyin’ hot spring!
It’s a backpacker favorite and a must-do experience in La Fortuna for anyone on a budget.
Expect a lively atmosphere at El Choyin in the afternoons and evenings, especially on weekends. It can get quite busy as the day goes on! For a quieter experience, visit during the week in the late morning.
Last time we were there mid-week in August, we enjoyed a peaceful late afternoon soak, with locals lighting candles around the springs as the sun went down. The experience was unforgettable!
And speaking of locals – many come here to relax and this is the only spot they have! Most cannot afford the fancier, more private, tourist-targeted hot springs in the region. Please be respectful and kind! You are a visitor and this is their home.
The only potential cost at El Choyin is parking and this varies between 1,000-5,000+ colones (cash only!). But keep in mind that you do not need to pay these ‘parking attendants’ who stand next to the road anything at all – they are not official and it is considered by some as a form of scamming.
However we almost always chose to pay these ‘attendants’ a little bit as they will keep an eye on your car and deter car thieves (though still leave nothing of value inside to be safe!), you’re able to park very close to your activity, and because we just felt like when we can afford it, why not? We were thankful to have someone keep an eye on our car and so it was a bit like paying or tipping for a service in our eyes!
Tip: you can always barter the price they tell you at first! Don’t be afraid to negotiate in Costa Rica.
If you do not want to pay anything then you can also just park for free further up the road where there is no attendant, but keep in mind that car break-ins are certainly not unheard of, so park wisely and leave nothing valuable in the car.

23.) El Salto Swimming Hole
Another one of the best free things to do in La Fortuna is to visit El Salto – a local swimming hole complete with a rope swing, two small waterfalls, and refreshingly crisp river water.
Just a few minutes from town, El Salto feels a little bit like a hidden oasis, surrounded by lush jungle and rocky outcroppings. It really is the ideal place to cool down in the middle of a day of exploring!
It does have one little quirk, though: a car bridge just a stones throw from the hole where passing tourists will likely stop, wave, and snap photos. We found this quite funny on both sides, though (from the hole and as a tourist), and for us it only added to the charm! It does ruin the whole ‘hidden’ oasis vibe just a bit, though, haha.
The spot can also get quite lively and loud in the evenings and on weekends, just like El Choyin (mentioned above), so visit in the morning during the week for a quieter vibe. Otherwise be ready for lots of families and kids swinging and splashing all around!

To find directions and info, just type El Salto into Waze – the much better version of Google Maps – and you are good to go!
24.) Explore the City
Sometimes the best experiences in La Fortuna are also the simplest – like just taking some time exploring the town itself!
Spend a few hours wandering its streets, popping into the many local shops, souvenir stands, bakeries, delicious restaurants, thrift stores, and more. There’s a little something for everyone, and you never know what hidden gem you might find!
Be sure to stop by Parque de La Fortuna, the central park, where you can relax under the shade, enjoy the vibrant local life with a copa (a shaved ice dessert) in hand, and people-watch to your heart’s content. On one of our visits, we even stumbled upon the sweetest old-timey quartet of elderly men singing alongside live musicians ????
Whether you’re visiting for a day or staying a while, exploring La Fortuna’s streets guarantees something unforgettable for you to see, do, and (most importantly) eat!
25.) Visit Angelina’s Gardens
If you’re in La Fortuna and looking for a peaceful, nature-filled hidden gem, this stunning garden is a must-visit!
While there’s no entrance fee (so it is technically free) there is a donation box to help with the upkeep. It’s very clear how much care and effort goes into maintaining this beautiful space so we do suggest bringing any and all spare change to donate if you are in the area!
The garden is home to thousands of plant species (including some more rare ones!), which in turn attract an incredible variety of wildlife. We spotted the cutest chubby bumblebees, vibrantly colored butterflies, and even grasshoppers as big as your fist!
There are also fun features like scenic towers to climb up, archways, art created by the plants, and even a small hedge maze to explore.
Beyond the lush greenery, the view of Arenal Volcano from the gardens is breathtaking. We highly recommend visiting on a clear day or even at sunset for a stunning viewpoint and great photo ops!

Q3: What is the Weather Like in La Fortuna?
Nestled in the northern highlands, La Fortuna enjoys warm, tropical weather year-round, making it a fantastic destination in any season.
Average temperatures typically range from a high of around 85°F (29°C) to a low of about 70°F (21°C), so you can expect warm days and comfortable nights.
La Fortuna follows Costa Rica’s traditional dry and wet seasons, with the dry season running from December to April and the green (rainy) season from May to November. September and October usually bring the heaviest rains, while February and March tend to be the driest and sunniest months.
Even during the rainy season, though, rain showers are often fairly short and most often take place in the early mornings, late afternoons, and nighttime, leaving plenty of time for outdoor adventures in between!
Q4: When is the Best Time to Visit La Fortuna?
No matter when you visit, there are always amazing things to do in La Fortuna! The best time to visit just depends on what kind of experience you’re looking for.
If you want sunny skies and minimal rain, the dry season (December – April) is the time to visit. However, this is also peak tourist season, so just be ready for the big crowds and higher prices.
If you prefer fewer crowds and don’t mind a bit of rain, the wet season (May – November) is the best choice. Yes, there will be rain, but it usually comes in short, intense bursts in the mornings, late afternoons, or at night, leaving you more than enough dry windows for exploring.
When we visited in August and September, we planned all our main, important activities right after breakfast and the rest after lunch. This schedule helped us avoid most of the rain while also enjoying La Fortuna without heavy crowds!
A good tip is to always carry a light, foldable rain poncho (like this one!) and wear waterproof shoes (like these!) since the weather in Costa Rica can be unpredictable – La Fortuna is no exception. No matter when you go, though, this beautiful volcanic region is always worth visiting!
Q5: What Should I Pack for a Trip to La Fortuna?
Here are the items that should be in every suitcase when traveling to La Fortuna, Costa Rica:
✔ Swim suit – This is one of the most important items for La Fortuna! You don’t want to miss out on all the lake activities, the swimming holes, and the hot springs!
✔ Sun protection – Whether that be caps, sunglasses, UV shirts and pants, etc. The sun can be quite harsh here, so plan accordingly!
✔ Natural bug spray and sunscreen – Protect your body and, ideally, the environment too! The last thing we want is to contaminate the rivers and hot springs or dense jungles with our products. Here is a great option for a natural bug spray and here is a great option for a reef-safe, water-resistant, mineral sunscreen.
✔ Rain Gear – A rain jacket, umbrella, or foldable poncho is a must.
✔ Waterproof Shoes – The trails can get muddy and it can rain a lot, so good waterproof shoes / hiking boots are essential!
💡 Tip: our go-to shoes (which we wore everywhere, from the ocean to the rainforest) were these for me and these for Matze. Super comfy, incredibly easy to clean, and very durable. We can highly recommend them!
In addition to the above, we also highly suggest these:
✔ Binoculars – Perfect for birdwatching & spotting wildlife! This small, easy to pack one is a particularly great option!
✔ Camera (or at least a good phone) *Ideally waterproof* – You’ll want to capture the magic of La Fortuna and, if you have a waterproof camera (like this cheaper one or even a fancy action camera), all the fun water sports in the region too!
✔ Wildlife Field Guide – A Costa Rica nature guide like this one can be tons of help and fun while you explore this region.

If you’re a nature lover, one of the nicest things to do in La Fortuna is wildlife spotting. This lush region is brimming with biodiversity!
From vibrant toucans and playful howler monkeys to bright tree frogs, iguanas, coatis (pictured above!), sloths, and so much more, the variety of wildlife here is incredible and you’ll find plenty of opportunities to encounter these creatures in their natural habitats. Here are the top ways to reach La Fortuna from your airport or city:
✔ By Rental Car – The easiest and most flexible option! We personally rented from Zuma Rent-a-Car and highly recommend them. La Fortuna is about 3 hours from the San José airport and roughly 4 hours from the Liberia airport (traffic-dependent).
✔ By Shuttle Transport – A stress-free option for those who prefer not to drive. Private and shared shuttles run from popular destinations like San José, Liberia, and other nearby cities. Here is an one from San José, for example!
✔ By Public Bus – The most budget-friendly choice. Long-distance buses connect La Fortuna with a handful of major cities, though schedules can be limited so be sure to plan ahead. (It can honestly also be pretty scary driving the curvy, small, and pothole-filled Costa Rican roads in a huge bus!!)

Q9: How to Get Around La Fortuna?
Getting around La Fortuna (really anywhere in Costa Rica!) can be a bit tricky, so choosing the right transportation is key to making the most of your trip! Here are the best ways to explore this region:
✔ By Rental Car – in our opinion the best option!
We highly recommend renting a car for any trip to Costa Rica and La Fortuna is no exception. Many areas can be very difficult and extremely long to get to by foot and public transport can be quite infrequent and unreliable.
As mentioned above, Matze and I used Zuma Rent-a-Car and had an amazing experience! Their team was super helpful and quick to respond.
✔ By Taxi or Ride-Sharing Services
Taxis and services like Uber are generally available in La Fortuna, but be cautious – some people have reported many taxi services in Costa Rica as scammy. Do a bit of research beforehand – especially about the general route the driver should take. We also suggest agreeing on at least an estimated price upfront.
✔ By Foot – a great option for short trips!
If you plan to stick to exploring the main town of La Fortuna and taking only guided tours with hotel pickups, you might not need a car at all! The town is very walkable, and most guided tours include pick-up and transportation to all the main hotels and hostels.
However, if you want to visit parks on your own schedule, head to the off-the-beaten-path spots (like El Choyin or El Salto), or take self-guided day trips or smaller tours, you will need a car (or car service).

Only have one day in this region and you are wondering what are the very best things to do in La Fortuna that cannot be missed? Well the answer to this would be to take a day tour!
A day tour will combine all of the top sights and activities into one, single day so that you not only get the most bang for your buck, but so that you also see as much of Monteverde as possible.
The day tour option is the day tour that Matthias and I took and loved so, so much was Red Lava Tours Full Day Tour. With 11 hours of exploring a waterfall, swimming in icy blue waters, visiting the Maleku indigenous tribe, hiking old lava flows, and relaxing in the hot springs, we really got to see the best of La Fortuna!
Another great option is the Best of La Fortuna Day Tour which is a customizable tour taking you to all your top spots in La Fortuna on a ~14 hour long exploration!
Lastly, if you want a day tour, but 10+ hours is just too much, check out this 8 hour long tour exploring the top famous sites: the waterfall, hanging bridges, and volcano hikes.
