We’re so happy to have you on our website! We are Rebecca (Osito) and Matthias (Oso), a married, multi-nationality (USA & DE) couple living in Bavaria, Germany!
We share all of our top travel tips, advice, guides, itineraries, and miscellaneous resources on our website with the goal to help you (and us!) see as much of the world as efficiently as possible!
Our main focuses are mid-range travel with some well worth it splurges! This includes:
- exploring as much of a country as possible (especially the local food!)
- adventure travel (we love extreme sports and adrenaline pumping activities!)
- getting to know the land, locals, and language well (Becca is a bit of a history and language buff!).

Rebecca (Becca)
Becca is a 28 year old San Diego, USA native who moved to Bavaria, Germany in 2016!
Since she was born, she has been in love with learning languages and exploring the world. As of now, she speaks English natively, German (C1), Spanish (B2+), and various languages at a basic level (Korean (A2), Japanese (A2), and Portuguese (A1)). Her list of languages she wants to learn next is longer than her arm!
She started traveling internationally when she was just 8 years old. Check out the flags below to see where exactly she has been!
At the very top of her travel wish list right now is Japan!
Her three favorite things to do while traveling are: learn as much of the language as possible, eat everything she can, and do at least one adrenaline pumping activity!
So far she has been skydiving x1, bungee jumping x4, white water rafting x1, zip lining x3, and canyoning x1.
When Becca is not traveling, she is likely studying for her bachelors (in languages and linguistics with a focus in Spanish and German), learning a language (or two or three!), reading, gardening, or working out (calisthenics, typically!).
Becca also owns another website, Plurilingualism. This site (and digital shop) is for language learners to help them learn as efficiently and fun as possible!
Matthias (Matze)
Matze is a 29 year old Bavarian boy, born and raised in southern Germany.
Being born and raised in Europe, Matze has been lucky enough to be exposed to many different cultures and countries from a young age! From his very first trip abroad to Italy to his school graduation trip to Croatia to frequent work road trips to Hungary and more. He is excited to continue to see more of this continent and to expand his horizons to other continents too!
He speaks German natively and English fluently (C1) and he has his eye on learning a bit of Spanish next!

At the very top of his travel wish list right now is Greece!
His favorite three things to do while traveling are: exploring the countryside, getting to know the people and the culture, and learning and finding educational takeaways from the country!
So far he has been bungee jumping x1, white water rafting x1, zip lining x1, and canyoning x1. Next up? Going skydiving for the very first time!
When Matze is not traveling, he is likely passionately working at his job (in the field mechanical engineering!), riding his motorcycle, building something, or working out (weightlifting with the boys, ideally!).
